After life there is death, 6 feet under. Life on the surface is simple, but with each step taken further into the depths of the unknown, matter becomes more interesting.

Sculpture - Flame

Part of a palm is the organic base for this sculpture. Materials include, wooden beads, straw, wool and seeds. Red orange and yellow flame mix with blue water.

Three wearable art costumes created by Rachel Platte, for the 2007 CAD fashion parade at Cairns State High. Models- Vicki, Bianca and Dannielle.

All six costumes entered into the Nebula category as one, make up The Sun People Tribe who emerged from backstage to join in a celebration of dance called The Vesica.

Photography - Sunset

With all the extra dust in the air lately, this sunset was enhanced with strong red and orange rays. This photo was taken through palm tree fronds with a Canon EOS camera, 75-300mm lens.
